Today I wanted to wear something comfortable, warm, and put together so I layered a really thin sheer tank top under a drapey cardigan over pedal pusher cropped jeans. On top, I put on my absolute favorite boyfriend coat- it has the best lining to keep you warm without sweating you out, and the double breasted cut give you a nice sleek look. I threw on some cut out boots and my favorite gold chain and ring to add some interest.

The dead look in my eyes is the result of sitting through neuroscience lecture. Just kidding. No really. I don't know, I kind of like the play on dimensions that is created by pairing two really loose tops with a tighter pair of pants. Here I tied the ends of my cardigan to toy with length.

These boots are so comfortable it's ridiculous. It literally took me an hour to break them in, and they give you a nice unintimidating height boost- which is nice because I'm a shrimp.
