I know what you're thinking: WHY ARE YOU POSTING A TEA RECIPE?!?11! THAT DOESN'T EVEN COUNT AS A RECIPE !!!!1!1
The answer is: Because I can. Also, this recipe is really good for you so sit down and listen.
What you need:
1 of your favorite green tea bag
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger powder
1 teaspoon sweetener of choice (optional)
1 mug of hot water
Have you got everything? Good, now put it all in the mug with hot water and let that beautiful concoction steep. Okay, I know. This was the lamest attempt at a recipe, I basically just told you to make tea with ginger in it but I'm posting it for a reason. Ginger is a really great natural digestive aid, and helps keep you, achem, regular. It's a great alternative to Activia for those of us spring chickens that don't quite want to feel like we've reached retirement age. Further, the green tea is good to jump start the metabolism and burn fat. Now, take a sip. Yummy, huh? I TOLD YOU SO. I like to have this with a half of Trader Joe's Carrot Ginger Oat Bran Muffins which are super duper high in fiber (4g) Don't judge me, I gave you an excuse to make yourself tea. I bet now you'll be making your tea like this all the time, hmm?
On the topic of things that are slightly unsavoury, my muffin kind of looks like a poop in this picture which is really relevant in a gross way... okay I'll stop. It was a yummy muffin though...?
Difficulty: Stupid Easy
Yields: 1 serving
